Absolute
Issue Nº 001 — Origin Story

Every hero
starts in a
dark alley.

Absolute Comics by French Leshietski opened as a single rack of battered back issues and a hand-painted sign. The idea was simple: a comic shop that treats every issue like a first printing — bagged, boarded, and argued about at the counter.

We stock the dark stuff first. Noir reprints, absolute editions, variant covers worth framing, and the indie titles nobody else in town bothers to order. If it bleeds off the page, it belongs on our wall.

Pull lists are personal here. Tell French one character you love and he will build you a reading order that ruins your sleep schedule.

French
Leshietski

Collector first, shopkeeper second. French has spent two decades hunting warehouse finds, estate-sale longboxes, and the one variant everyone swore never existed.

He grades hard, prices fair, and will talk Frank Miller layouts until closing time. Every absolute edition on the wall passed through his hands — and his standards.

Rule of the house: no mint claims without the bag to prove it.

What we stand on

Issue Nº 01

Condition is truth

Every grade is conservative, every flaw is photographed. If we say near mint, it survived our light table.

Issue Nº 02

Readers before speculators

Hot variants go to pull-list regulars first. Comics are for reading — the value follows the story, not the flip.

Issue Nº 03

The counter is open

Recommendations, reading orders, trade-vs-single-issue debates. Walk in with a question, leave with a stack.
